Tottenham star Toby Alderweireld breaks silence amid Man United transfer link
Manchester United target Toby Aldweireld breaks his silence about his future at Tottenham Hotspur

Toby Alderweireld has confirmed that he will return to Tottenham Hotspur for pre-season training this week amid interest from Manchester United.
Manchester United have been persistently linked with a move to sign a centre-half in the summer transfer window to improve their back four.
The Red Devils have been touted with an interest to sign the Belgium international from their Premier League title rivals.
Alderweireld has 12 months left to run on his current deal to raise the possibility of the ex-Atletico Madrid star exiting on free transfer next summer.
Tottenham have the option to activate a clause in Alderweireld’s current contract that would ensure the World Cup star remains at White Hart Lane until 2020.
However, Spurs risk losing the Manchester United target in a £25m deal next summer if they do activate the clause in his contract.
Alderweireld, who moved to Tottenham from Atletico in 2015, confirmed that he will return to Spurs for pre-season training at the north London outfit this week.
“I will return to London this weekend for the start of pre-season with my club,” said Alderweireld.
Manchester United have recruited Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred, FC Porto defender Diogo Dalot and veteran goalkeeper Lee Grant this summer.
The Red Devils finished in second place in the Premier League table last season but ended up 19 points adrift of champions Manchester City.
