Man United contact Chelsea about signing attacker in January – report
Man United have asked Chelsea to be kept informed about Willian's availability in the January transfer window

Manchester United have made contact with Chelsea about the possibility of signing Willian in the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Red Devils are keen to see whether Chelsea would be willing to let Willian leave Stamford Bridge and sign for their Premier League rivals in the new year.
The same report says that Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s long-term future at Old Trafford is in doubt, with Inter Milan apparently interested in signing the Armenian on loan in the new year.
The story also states that Manchester United are pondering whether to make official moves to try and sign either Chelsea star Willian or Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil in January.
It is claimed that Manchester United have asked Chelsea to be “kept informed” about any developments concerning Willian’s situation at Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian’s future has been something of a source of uncertainty in recent weeks because he has only started 10 of Chelsea’s 19 Premier League games so far this season.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently preparing to return to Premier League action on Boxing Day with a home clash against Burnley.
