Man United setback in bid to sign 28-year-old – report
Man United are hit with a setback in their attempt to sign Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder, according to a report in England

Manchester United are facing a complication in their bid to sign Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder, according to a report in Spain.
Spanish media outlet Colina de Nervion, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Manchester United’s interest in the centre-forward has prompted Sevilla to make a renewed effort to keep their star man.
The same article states that the Red Devils were lining up Yedder to replace Inter Milan target Romelu Lukaku in the event that the Belgium international does leave Old Trafford this summer.
According to the same story, the 20-time English champions can sign Yedder for just £35m if the Red Devils activate his contract release clause.
But Sevilla are now ready to step up their efforts to convince the powerful striker to commit to a new long-term deal with the Spanish club.
The Daily Express go on to say that there’s still a chance Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will rely on 17-year-old Mason Greenwood to replace Lukaku next term.
Manchester United started their summer spending with the £15m addition of Wales international Daniel James from Swansea City.
The Red Devils then signed Aaron Wan-Bissaka in a £50m deal from Crystal Palace over the weekend to snap up their second player of the transfer window.
