Belgian reporter: Man United contact Ligue 1 side about 22-year-old midfielder
Man United are interested in AS Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans in the summer transfer window

Manchester United have been in touch with Ligue 1 side AS Monaco about their midfielder Youri Tielemans, according to Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur.
The Belgium international is thought to be a player in demand this summer following his impressive loan spell at Leicester City in the second half of the Premier League season.
Tielemans acquitted himself well during his stint with Brendan Rodgers at Leicester to fuel transfer speculation surrounding the 22-year-old this summer.
Leicester are thought to be keen on a permanent move to sign Tielemans ahead of Rodgers’ first full season in charge of the 2016 Premier League champions.
However, the Foxes could struggle to meet AS Monaco’s asking price of €45m (£40m) to leave the door ajar for Manchester United to test the French club’s resolve.
The Red Devils are contending with speculation surrounding their prized asset Paul Pogba, who has been linked with both Juventus and Real Madrid this summer.
Belgian reporter Terreur revealed that Manchester United have been in touch with AS Monaco about their promising Belgian midfielder as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to sign reinforcements.
“Man United have been in touch over Youri Tielemans again. Leicester are hoping to get a deal done, but Solskjaer likes the Belgian international,” Terreur wrote on Twitter.
“Man United are keeping close attention – talks with his agents. Tielemans won’t return to Monaco. Spurs have other priorities.”
Tielemans has scored two goals and has made three assists in 13 games in the Premier League last season.
The Belgian star moved to AS Monaco from Anderlecht in the 2017 summer transfer window.
