Why Man United boss Mourinho turned down new Arsenal signing – report
Jose Mourinho decided against signing Alexandre Lacazette for Manchester United, say reports

Jose Mourinho turned down the chance to bring Alexandre Lacazette to Manchester United this summer because he had doubts about the forward’s big-game mentality, according to reports in the British media.
The Guardian is reporting that Manchester United scouted the 26-year-old striker last season but reservations were raised about his physical attributes and “big-game mentality”.
Arsenal confirmed Lacazette as their second summer signing last week as they secured a club-record transfer deal to land him from Lyon.
The France forward has an impressive goal-scoring record, having netted 129 goals in 275 games for the Ligue 1 club before his switch to The Emirates.
Lacazette has already linked up with his new team-mates and jetted off to Australia for the north London club’s pre-season tour over the weekend.
Arsenal will be hoping that the striker will be able to inspire a Premier League title challenge next season, with the Gunners having fallen short last term and ending up fifth in the table.
The north London side did end last season on a high, however, when they beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
