Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to add Leicester star James Maddison to his squad, according to a report in England
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Manchester United to sign Leicester City midfielder James Maddison next year, according to a report in England.
The Evening Standard, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Red Devils are interested in a fresh attempt to sign the Leicester playmaker following his impressive start to the season.
The same article states that Manchester United boss Solskjaer has asked his scouting department to keep a close eye on the 22-year-old as the Norwegian eyes potential recruits for next summer already.
According to the same story, Solskjaer would like to improve his team’s creativity in the middle of the park after Manchester United missed out on Christian Eriksen in the most recent transfer window.
The Evening Standard report goes on to add that Tottenham Hotspur could also be interested in the impressive Leicester midfielder.
Maddison has scored one goal and has made two assists in six Premier League games so far this season.
The Leicester star netted seven times and made seven goals in his first season in the English top flight last term after the Foxes signed Maddison in a £20m deal from Norwich City.
Manchester United boss Solskjaer has only signed British talent since he took over the reins from Jose Mourinho last term.
