Mark Lawrenson states his prediction for Man United v Chelsea FC
BBC Sport pundit Mark Lawrenson is backing Manchester United to draw with Chelsea FC on Sunday

Mark Lawrenson is tipping Manchester United and Chelsea FC to share the spoils in their Premier League opener at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils will be eager to make a positive start to their Premier League campaign with a vital victory over Chelsea FC in their pursuit to secure a return to the top four.
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last term to underline the widening gap between the Old Trafford side and their derby rivals Manchester City.
The 20-time English champions have signed Swansea City winger Daniel James, Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Leicester City defender Harry Maguire in an attempt to close the chasm this summer.
Chelsea FC are set to undergo a season of transition after Frank Lampard took over the reins of his former club from Italian coach Maurizio Sarri despite one year of management under his belt.
Former Liverpool FC defender Lawrenson is backing Manchester United and Chelsea FC to share the spoils in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Sunday.
“This is Frank Lampard’s first game in charge of Chelsea, but he has already won as a manager at Old Trafford – his Derby side beat United on penalties in last season’s Carabao Cup,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“This is a fabulous time for Lampard to get the Blues job because not being able to sign players has bought him some time. I do look at Chelsea and wonder where the goals are coming from though.
“If he finishes in the top four, that would be success – and it is the same for United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.”
Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013.
The Red Devils have only managed to finish in the top four on two occasions in the past six seasons.
