Wes Brown states his prediction for Man United v Leicester

Wes Brown is tipping Manchester United to claim a 1-0 win over Leicester City in their Premier League opener at Old Trafford next week.

The countdown to the new Premier League season has begun, and the Red Devils are poised to take on the Foxes in the first game of the new campaign next Friday night.

Jose Mourinho will be aiming to guide his side to the Premier League title next season after the Red Devils finished in second place in the Premier League table last season and without a trophy.

Manchester United have signed three players in the summer transfer window so far after having tied up deals for Diogo Dalot, Fred and Lee Grant.

The Red Devils are still believed to be in the market for some more new signings this summer as they look to try and add to their squad before next Thursday’s transfer deadline.

And former Manchester United star Brown feels that the Red Devils are likely to be able to claim a narrow victory over the Foxes to get their campaign off to a positive start.

Speaking in an interview with 888sport, Brown was asked to predict the score for the game, and simply replied:
