Juan Mata states his prediction for Man United v Tottenham
Juan Mata challenges Manchester United to get back to winning ways with victory over Tottenham on Saturday

Juan Mata has challenged Manchester United to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when the Red Devils take on Tottenham at Old Trafford next weekend.
Jose Mourinho’s men suffered a shock 2-1 loss to newly-promoted Huddersfield Town on Saturday as they slumped to their first defeat of the season in the top flight.
The Red Devils’ first loss in the Premier League this term left them five points behind leaders Manchester City and needing a victory against Spurs to get their title bid back on track.
Tottenham, meanwhile, were impressive 4-1 winners against Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday as they underlined their title credentials this season.
Now, Mata has issued a rallying cry as the Red Devils prepare to host the Lilywhites at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Writing in his personal blog, Mata said: “There’s another big game next weekend, this time against Tottenham.
“We return to Old Trafford after three games on the road and it’s a very important match.
“They’re one of the most difficult teams to beat in the top-flight, and it’s a key game for us to show all the virtues we have been talking about over the last two months.”
Manchester United are aiming to win the Premier League this season for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final campaign in charge in the 2012-13 season.
The Red Devils look set to make significant progress this season after they finished sixth in the table last term in Mourinho’s first campaign in charge.
They did win the Europa League and League Cup last season, however.
