Stuart Pearce states his prediction for Man United v Tottenham
Stuart Pearce looks ahead to Manchester United's clash with Tottenham next weekend

Stuart Pearce reckons that Manchester United could have the edge over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League clash at Old Trafford next weekend.
Manchester United are currently dusting themselves down after the disappointment of their 2-1 loss to Huddersfield in the Premier League on Saturday.
It was the Red Devils’ first defeat of the season in the top flight and led to them losing ground on Manchester City in the race for the title.
Indeed, Manchester United are now five points behind their local rivals after nine games of the new campaign.
Tottenham, meanwhile, looked in fine form as they thrashed Liverpool 4-1 at Wembley on Sunday to keep up their impressive start and leave them level on points with Manchester United.
However, with Harry Kane an injury doubt for this weekend’s trip to Old Trafford, former Manchester City boss Pearce reckons that Jose Mourinho’s men could have the edge on Saturday afternoon.
Speaking on Sky Sports News on Monday morning, Pearce said: “If Harry Kane’s not fit on Saturday, you might fancy United a bit more than Tottenham’s chances. Who knows?”
Manchester United are aiming to win the Premier League for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final campaign in charge in the 2012-13 season.
The Red Devils finished sixth both won both the League Cup and Europa League last term.
