Man United want 28-year-old La Liga striker to replace Romelu Lukaku – report
Man United are interested in a £36m deal for Sevilla striker Wissam ben Yedder, according to a report

Manchester United are hoping to sign Sevilla striker Wissam ben Yedder as Romelu Lukaku’s replacement, according to a report in Spain.
Spanish media outlet ABC de Sevilla, as quoted by The Sun, is reporting that Manchester United are looking at Ben Yedder as their ideal replacement for the Belgium international.
The same article states that Lukaku is closing in on a move to Serie A giants Inter Milan after his agent claimed that the powerful striker is eager to leave Old Trafford.
According to the same story, Manchester United are ready to meet Yedder’s £36m release clause if Lukaku does complete a transfer to Serie A giants Inter Milan.
The Sun goes on to report that Manchester United could face competitions from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain and La Liga giants FC Barcelona this summer.
Yedder has scored 18 goals and has made nine assists in 35 games in La Liga last term to help the Spanish side secure a top-six finish.
Manchester United finished in sixth spot in the Premier League, too. The Red Devils missed out on a place in the Champions League for the fourth time in six seasons since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013.
Lukaku has struggled to hit the ground running since his move to Manchester United from Everton in 2017.
