Steven Gerrard offers advice to Man United star ahead of Man City clash
Steven Gerrard urges Marcus Rashford to work on improving his finishing with his left foot at Man United

Steven Gerrard has urged Marcus Rashford to continue practicing his finishing with his left foot for Manchester United.
The 20-year-old striker has been in top form for the Red Devils so far this season and has earned plenty of praise for his performances for Jose Mourinho’s men.
The forward has scored eight goals and made four assists in all competitions for the Red Devils so far this season as he looks to establish himself as a regular fixture in the first team.
Rashford is often deployed on the left wing for the Red Devils, meaning that he gets a lot of chances on his left foot.
And former Liverpool FC star Gerrard believes that Rashford would be wise to focus on improving his finishing with his weaker foot, because he can expect to get many more chances in those situations in the future.
Speaking to BT Sport on Tuesday night, Gerrard said of Rashford: “He doesn’t lack confidence, which is good, especially at his age.
“I think the finishing side of his game, with age, confidence and experience, will only improve.
“But he should be working on that left side all the time because it seems to me that he loves getting in that left channel, so he’s going to get more and more chances in there.”
Rashford will be hoping to start for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action on Sunday with a crunch clash against Manchester City at Old Trafford.
Manchester United head into the game knowing that a victory would leave them five points behind Pep Guardiola’s leaders.
