Man United ready to make move to sign 23-year-old starlet – report
Manchester United could be set to make a move to sign Federico Bernardeschi from Fiorentina after being frustrated in their pursuit of Ivan Perisic, say reports

Manchester United are ready to make a move to sign Federico Bernardeschi after becoming frustrated in their pursuit of Ivan Perisic, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet Mediaset Premium – as quoted by the Sun – is claiming that Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is ready to ditch his interest in signing Perisic because Inter Milan continue to demand £50m for the Croatian.
It is claimed that Manchester United are ready to end their interest in Perisic and instead turn their attentions towards trying to sign 23-year-old Fiorentina starlet Bernardeschi.
The same story claims that Bernardeschi is currently refusing to sign a new contract at Fiorentina, which could make it easier for Manchester United to conclude a deal.
However, it is also claimed that Manchester United are likely to face competition from Juventus for Bernardeschi’s signature, with the Serie A champions believed to be the favourites for his signature this summer.
That being said, it is also reported that Fiorentina would be more willing to let Bernardeschi to move abroad than join an Italian rival.
Bernardeschi scored 11 goals and made four assists in 33 Serie A games for Fiorentina last season as they finished fifth in the table.
