The Red Devils slipped to a third successive loss on Tuesday night as Sunderland were 2-1 winners in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final at Stadium of Light.

The defending Premier League champions currently trail fourth-placed Liverpool by five points following their 2-1 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur in their last top-flight outing.
And former United midfielder Gillespie fears the Red Devils could miss out on Champions League football next season if their current form continues under manager David Moyes.
“It was inconceivable to think that United could lose three games in a row,” Gillespie told BBC Radio Five live. “At the minute things are just not going right for them.
“I think a crisis before might have been finishing second in the league, but now there’s a real chance they might not even finish in the top four and that is something that you don’t associate with United.”
Gillespie scored two goals for the Red Devils before sealing a £7m move to Newcastle United in 1995.
