Man United have lost Old Trafford fear factor, says Liverpool legend
Liverpool legend Ian Rush believes Manchester United have lost their fear factor at Old Trafford ahead of the north-west derby

Manchester United have lost their fear factor at Old Trafford, according to former Liverpool striker Ian Rush.
The Reds make the trip to the defending Premier League champions on Sunday as Brendan Rodgers’s men bid to win at the Theatre of Dreams for the first time since a memorable 4-1 victory in 2009.

Rush feels manager David Moyes has been hampered by bad luck and injuries during his first season in charge of the 20-time English champions.
And the Reds legend fully expects Rodgers to encourage his Liverpool side to attack a potentially nervous United.
“From United’s point of view, I think they’ve been unlucky with injuries. David Moyes needs to be given time,” Rush told United’s website.
“He’s a great coach but sometimes you have good luck and sometimes you have bad luck and United have had bad luck with injuries.
“We’ve had [Daniel] Sturridge and [Luis] Suarez on form and we’re looking at this game now and saying ‘Let’s go to United’s ground and win.’
“Teams probably aren’t as scared of going to Anfield as they were in the past and I think that’s the same with Old Trafford. I think people go there now and say, ‘We might be able to win here.’
“It’s the most open league we’ve had for a long time. Previously United have dominated and it was all about who would be coming second.”
