Man United transfers: ‘Bastian Schweinsteiger could leave Bayern’
Man United transfers: Bayern Munich legend Oliver Kahn believes Bastian Schweinsteiger would find it hard to turn down Red Devils

Bastian Schweinsteiger could be tempted to quit Bayern Munich in favour of joining Manchester United, according to Oliver Kahn.
The 29-year-old has started 10 Bundesliga games this season, scoring one goal and making one assist, amid reports of a potential move to the Red Devils.

United manager David Moyes was reported to have attended Bayern’s 2-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday night, fuelling reports of a potential bid for the midfielder.
And Bayern and Germany legend Kahn reckons Schweinsteiger would find it difficult to turn down a move to the reigning Premier League champions, who signed Juan Mata on Saturday.
“If you have an offer from a club like Bayern, Barca or Manchester United, you have to accept it,” Kahn told Kicker.
Kahn added that Schweinsteiger needs to get back to full fitness if the midfielder is going to have a chance of forcing his way into Germany manager Joachim Low’s World Cup squad.
“He needs to take on this challenge, and also return to fitness,” added Kahn.
At Mata’s unveiling at Carrington on Monday, Moyes claimed that Mata would be the first in a series of big-name signings to move to Old Trafford.
“There will be more players like Juan in the future, there is no doubt about that,” Moyes said.
