Man United transfers: Moyes plays down chances of January signings
Man United transfers: David Moyes admits that he is unlikely to be able to add to his squad in the January window

David Moyes admits that he is unlikely to be able to bolster his Manchester United squad during the January transfer window.
The Scot conceded that there is an “urgency” to add to his squad after the Red Devils were dumped out of the FA Cup following a 2-1 home defeat by Swansea City at Old Trafford.
I said I would try, but that it would probably be doubtful in January

But the 50-year-old refused to “hype up” the chances of bringing in some big-name players in January, despite United’s stuttering form this season.
“There is an urgency that we would like to bring people in but are those players available in January?” said Moyes.
“So there’s no point in me hyping it up, because the players we would like to bring in are probably not available in January, not because we don’t want to do it.
“I said I would try, but that it would probably be doubtful in January, because of the window, but I think I’ve been saying it fairly consistently.”
United are currently seventh in the Premier League table, 11 points behind leaders Arsenal.
