Man United transfers: Thiago Silva urges PSG to sign Wayne Rooney
Man United transfers: Defender Thiago Silva says he would love to see Paris Saint-Germain sign Wayne Rooney this summer

Thiago Silva says he would love to see Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney join Paris Saint-Germain.
The England international has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer after having a transfer request rejected by United at the end of the season.
PSG, who were recently crowned Ligue 1 champions, are reportedly interested in the 27-year-old striker, and Silva believes Rooney would be a good addition to their squad.
“I love this player,” Silva said about Rooney, who scored 12 Premier League goals this season.
“Whenever I have played against him he has scored. I would really like Rooney to sign for PSG.
“He would be a quality addition for us.”
Silva also rubbished the suggestion that he could leave the Parc des Princes this summer amid reported interest from Spanish champions Barcelona.
The Brazil international, who joined PSG from AC Milan in 2012, insisted he is happy at the Ligue 1 side and plans to see out his contract.
“At the beginning of every summer it is said that I’ll move to Barcelona. Last year it was the same thing.
“I am very happy at PSG and I hope to stay in Paris until the end of my contract in 2017.”
