Man United will 100% stand by David Moyes, insists Henning Berg
Henning Berg expects Manchester United to stand by under-pressure David Moyes after a 1-0 loss to Everton on Wednesday

Henning Berg says he is 100 per cent confident Manchester United will stand by under-pressure manager David Moyes.
The Red Devils succumbed to a surprise 1-0 loss to Everton at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, leaving the defending champions 12 points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.
Moyes, who spent 11 years at Goodison Park, succeeded Sir Alex Ferguson in the summer after the Scot decided to call time on a decorated career which saw him win 13 top-flight titles.
United have already suffered four defeats in the Premier League this term, but former Red Devils defender Berg expects the 20-time champions to stand by the 50-year-old Scot.
“Yes they will do. They said that when he started,” Berg told talkSPORT.
“I’m 100 per cent sure they will keep him as manager, they have a policy. They will keep him even if they finish eighth or ninth this season and will look to build for next year.”
Moyes admitted United are playing “big catch up” following his side’s 1-0 loss to the Toffees at Old Trafford.
“I’m very disappointed. We needed a bit of good fortune and we didn’t get it. Everton kept at it and showed us what a good team they are,” Moyes told Sky Sports News.
“We didn’t defend the goal well enough so it was our own doing. We had some chances as well, as did Everton. They have been playing well and that’s why they are up near the top of the league.
“It wasn’t about me tonight, I was fortunate to manage Everton and I’m fortunate to be managing Manchester United. It’s a big catch up for us now.”
