Man United will need time to adjust to new signings, warns Juan Mata
Manchester United will take some time to adjust to their new signings, according to Spaniard Juan Mata
Juan Mata has warned that it will take Manchester United time to adjust to their new signings despite a 4-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.
Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal handed United debuts to Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo, while Angel di Maria made his first appearance at Old Trafford.
With so many new players and a new football style we need time to adjust to each other

28-year-old Colombia striker Radamel Falcao, who moved to United on a season-long loan from Monaco on deadline day, made a 23-minute cameo appearance.
While goal-scorer Mata was thrilled to help United notch their first league win of the season, the Spaniard expects United to take a few weeks to reach their full potential.
“I have been looking forward to this for a long time: writing on a Sunday evening just to show how excited we are in the team,” Mata wrote in his blog, One Hour Behind.
“On the pitch we could exhibit the team’s potential and we enjoyed our game, and I also have to thank our fans for always being there, for their trust and support. Beating QPR is only one game, that’s pretty clear to me, but I also hope it is going to start a good streak that will take us far, to the place where we want to be.”
Mata added: “In the last few weeks I have been telling you that we are working very well in the training sessions. With so many new players and a new football style we need time to adjust to each other.
“It takes time to bear fruit but I knew that was going to happen. We keep working on it and a victory like this one against QPR comes to show that we are on the right path.”
