Man City might be best in England but not the planet, says Jose Mourinho
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho laughs off Tim Sherwood's claim that Manchester City are the best team on the planet

Jose Mourinho has laughed off Tim Sherwood’s claim that Manchester City are the best side on the planet.
The Spurs boss made the declaration after the Premier League leaders dismantled the north London side in a convincing 5-1 victory at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
Maybe for the Tottenham manager [Tim Sherwood], the planet is England

Mourinho’s Chelsea, who are currently four points adrift of City, are set to face the Citizens at Etihad Stadium on Monday night, and the Blues boss rebutted Sherwood’s suggestion.
Asked whether he agreed with the Tottenham boss, Mourinho replied: “Maybe for the Tottenham manager, the planet is England.”
He added: “You will see in the Champions League [who is the best team]. You will see in a couple of months.”
City striker Sergio Aguero won’t feature against the Blues in the top-of-the-table clash after being sidelined for a month due to a hamstring injury, which he suffered in the first half at White Hart Lane.
The Argentina international did manage to score his 13th Premier League goal of the season before injury struck, but Mourinho doesn’t expect City to feel the effects of Aguero’s absence.
“He’s [Aguero] is a fantastic player but he’s one of so many,” Mourinho said.
“Even the fourth striker, coming off the bench, comes on and scores. For the last month Sergio was injured. The third striker, Dzeko, has made the difference and scored a lot of goals. So it’s not important for them if someone is injured.”
