Man City’s Manuel Pellegrini: I’ve no regrets over Sergio Aguero
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini insists he doesn't regret playing Sergio Agüero in the FA Cup

Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that he doesn’t regret playing Sergio Aguero in Manchester City’s 4-2 victory over Watford last weekend after the Argentine’s latest injury blow.
The 25-year-old limped off in the first half of City’s 5-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night due to a tight hamstring after scoring the opener at White Hart Lane.
I don’t think that was directly related to his injury – I would make the same decision

Aguero, who joined City from Atletico Madrid in 2011, missed most of the festive period due to a calf injury before returning for City’s FA Cup third-round replay against Blackburn Rovers in January.
Despite the Argentina international’s injury blow, Citizens manager Pellegrini doesn’t regret playing the City striker against Watford in the FA Cup after the Eastlands outfit booked their place in the fifth round with Aguero’s help.
“It wasn’t a mistake because for us the most important thing is to win the match that we have to play,” Pellegrini said. “At that moment we were losing and it was important for Sergio to continue playing.
“Maybe if we were winning, he would have played 75 minutes so it was not an important amount. Maybe he played 10 or 15 minutes more, but I don’t think that was directly related to his injury – I would make the same decision.”
