Nemanja Matic has agreed personal terms with Manchester United ahead of his proposed transfer to Old Trafford from Chelsea, according to reports in the regional British media.
The Manchester Evening News is reporting that the 28-year-old Serbia international has already agreed on the terms of his contract with the Red Devils should he indeed move to Old Trafford this summer.
Matic has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent days, speculation that has been heightened by Chelsea’s reported pursuit of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Now, the regional UK newspaper is claiming that the Red Devils have agreed terms with Matic.
However, it is also claimed that Manchester United are still yet to settle on a fee with Chelsea for the midfielder – and it remains unclear whether the Red Devils have submitted an official offer.
The same article claims that Matic could be the perfect player to line up alongside Paul Pogba at Old Trafford, and that Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier has been deemed as an “unattainable” target.
