Maurizio Sarri reaches an agreement to become next Juventus manager, according to reports
Chelsea FC boss Maurizio Sarri has reached an agreement to become the next Juventus manager, according to reports in the British media.
Website Goal is reporting that the Italian has accepted an agreement with the Serie A champions and has requested that Chelsea FC allow him to leave the west London club.
The same story says that Sarri’s agent Fali Ramadani met with Stamford Bridge officials on Friday to discuss his client’s future as a move to Juventus draws nearer.
The same article says that Sarri wanted to wait until the end of the season to decide on his future – and he now has his heart set on taking over at Juventus.
According to the same article, Chelsea FC do not want to be unprepared for Sarri’s departure, with Frank Lampard having been linked with the position at Stamford Bridge in recent weeks.
Sarri led Chelsea FC to Europa League glory on Wednesday night as his side claimed a dominant 4-1 victory over Arsenal in the Europa League final in Baku.
The Blues also finished in third place in the Premier League table to secure their spot in the Champions League for next season, and reached the League Cup final this term.
