Ozil, Ramsey and more: Twitter reacts as Arsenal beat Hull
Aaron Ramsey and Mezut Özil both tweet their thoughts as Arsenal beat Hull to keep their four-point lead at the top intact

Arsenal maintained their four-point lead at the top of the table thanks to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Hull City at Emirates Stadium.
Nicklas Bendtner repaid Arsene Wenger for handing him his first Premier League start of the season as he headed in Carl Jenkinson’s cross after just two minutes.
Club-record signing Mesut Özil then stroked in from Aaron Ramsey’s pass to make it 2-0 shortly after half-time and wrap up the win in north London.
The game prompted a flurry of activity on Twitter from some big names, and here are our favourite updates in chronological order.
Ex-England international Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) thinks that it’s time to take notice of Wenger’s men as Bendtner nets the early opener: “Cricket! When Bendtner starts scoring you really have to take Arsenal seriously.
Ray Parlour (@RealRomfordPele) feels that the Gunners should try and snap up Luis Suarez from Liverpool as the striker nets four goals against Norwich: “So far so good for the Gooners! Suarez what a player. Wish he was in an Arsenal Shirt! Double Hat Trick on the cards!”
And so does celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan): “We know Suarez wanted to come to us this summer, so we should give him his wish in January. Whatever the price. #Afc”
Back to The Emirates, and goal-scorer Mesut Ozil (@MesutOzil1088) is the first Gunners player to get online after the final whistle: “Three games, nine points, 7:0 goals – Winter-wonderland in London.”
But it’s not long before Aaron Ramsey (@aaronramsey) chimes in: “3 points, clean sheet, onto Sunday…”
As does Kieran Gibbs (@KieranGibbs), who was an unused substitute: “Great way to start a busy December #AFC #Arsenal”
Midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong (@IAMFRIMPONG26) keeps it short and simple: “Well done @Arsenal”
And finally, injured Gunners forward Lukas Podolski (@Podolski10) has his say: “Yeah! We kept a clean sheet again ;) great job guys!!! #AFC #Arsenal #COYG #welldone #poldi #podolski #aha”
