Mesut Ozil delivers honest verdict on his Arsenal displays this season
Mesut Ozil admits that his performances for Arsenal have not been up to scratch in recent weeks

Mesut Ozil has admitted that he has not been at his best for Arsenal this season – but says his task is made harder when the Gunners are not performing well.
The north London side have endured a difficult few weeks, as they were dumped out of the Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich and also lost four of their last five Premier League games.
Ozil has struggled for form and fitness in recent weeks and missed the 3-1 loss to West Brom in the Premier League before the international break.
However, the World Cup winner is expected to be back available for the Gunners when they host Manchester City at The Emirates on Sunday.
And the 28-year-old has delivered an honest assessment about how he feels his season has gone so far.
Ozil told SportBild, as quoted by Metro: “I started [the season] strongly but – like the team in general – have not kept up my performance.
“When it isn’t going well overall it is twice as hard for a creative player. Take the games against Bayern, for instance.”
