Mesut Ozil comments on Arsene Wenger’s future and gives latest Arsenal injury update
Mesut Ozil says he is completely in the dark about whether Arsene Wenger will stay at Arsenal beyond the summer

Mesut Ozil admits that he doesn’t know whether Arsene Wenger is planning to stay at Arsenal beyond the end of the season.
The Frenchman’s situation at The Emirates has been a relentless source of speculation in recent weeks following Arsenal’s disastrous run of form.
Wenger’s current Arsenal contract is due to expire in the summer and it remains to be seen whether the Gunners boss will stay on at the north London club for another year.
However, Ozil has revealed that he is in the dark about Wenger’s future – just like the club’s fans.
Ozil told The Daily Star: “I don’t know what he will decide. That’s something we will have to wait for.”
There was some good news for Arsenal fans however, as Ozil confirmed that he is likely to be fit for the Gunners’ crunch clash with Manchester City in the Premier League after the international break.
He continued: “It looks good for Sunday. I tweaked a muscle in the thigh and the calf. On Thursday I was able to train again with a few other players. I have no complaints.”
