Mesut Ozil has told Arsenal fans that he is now feeling 100 per cent fit after struggling with a knee injury at the start of the season.
The Germany international is back to his best for the Gunners after missing a handful of games with a knee problem.
The 29-year-old earned plenty of praise for his performance in Arsenal’s 5-2 victory over Everton last weekend and he featured from the start once again in the home clash with Swansea on Saturday.
And the World Cup winner has revealed that he is now feeling in top form for the north London side as he bids to help Arsenal challenge for major trophies this season.
Speaking to Arsenal’s website, Ozil said: “I feel 100 per cent fit now.
“I had knee problems [earlier this season] but in the game at Everton you saw that I’m fully fit and I was relieved to help the team.”
Arsenal return to Europa League action on Thursday night when they take on Red Star Belgrade at The Emirates.
The north London side have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
Arsenal finished fifth in the Premier League last season but did beat Chelsea to win the FA Cup title to lift the trophy for the third time in four seasons.
Ozil signed for Arsenal from Real Madrid back in the summer of 2013.
