Mesut Ozil opens up about Arsenal’s title hopes this season
Mesut Ozil delivers his verdict on the quality of the Arsenal team this season under Arsene Wenger

Mesut Ozil is confident that Arsenal have what it takes to win major trophies this season, despite their stuttering start to the new campaign.
The Gunners have not won the Premier League since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign and have made something of a slow start to the new season.
Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League table and nine points behind leaders Manchester City after having lost three of their opening nine games.
However, Ozil was in fine form for Arsenal as he helped Arsene Wenger’s men return to winning ways in the top flight with a thrilling 5-2 victory at Everton last weekend.
And the 29-year-old playmaker feels that Arsenal have the building blocks in place to challenge for major honours this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Ozil said: “We have lots of quality in this team as we have shown. It’s important to be consistent if we want to be successful.
“We know we have the quality, we just have to give our all and believe in ourselves. If we can do that I’m convinced we can win trophies.”
Arsenal finished fifth in the Premier League last season as they missed out on Champions League qualification for the first time under Wenger and had to settle for Europa League football this term.
However, the Gunners did win the FA Cup for the third time in four years as they lifted the trophy at Wembley after beating Chelsea in the final back in May.
