Michael Carrick urges Man United to regroup ahead of Sunderland tie
Manchester United's Michael Carrick admits their League Cup semi-final second-leg against Sunderland is a "huge" game

Michael Carrick has urged Manchester United to dust themselves down following their Chelsea loss ahead of their Capital One Cup semi-final second-leg against Sunderland on Wednesday.
The Red Devils are trailing the Black Cats 2-1 from the first leg at the Stadium of Light following a Ryan Giggs own goal and Fabio Borini’s clinical penalty a fortnight ago.

United suffered a 3-1 loss to title rivals Chelsea on Sunday – and Red Devils midfielder Carrick is desperate to play the League Cup clash as soon as possible to regain some form.
“We want to play again as quickly as possible,” Carrick said.
“Wednesday is another big game. It is a huge game for us. It is an opportunity to get to a final. You can’t take that lightly. We will get over [the defeat to Chelsea], dust ourselves down, and be ready again for Wednesday.
“The fans have been unbelievable, over the last month or so especially. Times have been difficult. Performances have not been that bad actually, but results have been pretty awful for us to take.
“We are giving everything at the minute. It is just not going our way. If we all stick together, I am sure it will turn soon.”
