Michael Owen: It’s hard to predict where Arsenal, Liverpool will finish

Michael Owen insists that it is too difficult to predict next season’s top four until the summer transfer window is closed.
The former Liverpool striker was this week quoted as saying that he expects Chelsea, Liverpool and both Manchester clubs to make up next next season’s Premier League top four.

However, Owen looks to have backtracked on those comments and feels that the busy Premier League transfer activity makes it too tough to call.
Owen tweeted on Wednesday: “I’m loving some of the signings in The Premier League so far. [Luke] Shaw, [Alexis] Sanchez, [Cesc] Fabregas, [Adam] Lallana, [Diego] Costa etc with more to follow.
“Hard to predict finishing positions until the window is closed. Liverpool, United and Arsenal seem busy in the market.”
Speaking to talkSPORT, Owen had previously said: “In no particular order, my top four for next season would be Chelsea, Man City, Man United and Liverpool.
“Arsenal haven’t had any real stand out players in the last few years, like Thierry Henry. They have just lagged a step behind.”
