Liverpool are reported to be closing in on a deal to sign Mohamed Salah from AS Roma.
The Egypt international has been heavily linked with a big-money switch to the Merseyside outfit in the 2017 summer transfer window.
However, questions have been raised about how the 25-year-old would slot into the Liverpool team given the quality options already available to Jurgen Klopp.

The former Chelsea winger has chalked up more minutes than Liverpool trio Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
Salah has scored 29 times during that spell, which is comfortably more than Mane’s 24 goals. Brazilian duo have both netted 21 goals in the past two seasons.
Not only is the African star the top goal-scorer, but he has also made more assists than the Liverpool trio. Salah has made 17 assists which is three more than Liverpool’s most-creative player, Firmino.
Unsurprisingly considering his dominance against his potential Liverpool team-mate, Salah makes a goal or assist every 113.6 minutes.
