Latest update on Man United’s bid to sign top 24-year-old striker – report
Manchester Untied are still aiming to complete the signing of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, according to reports

Manchester United are still hoping to complete the signing of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Independent is reporting that the Red Devils remain keen on trying to tempt the 24-year-old striker to Old Trafford this summer but could now face a fresh battle for his signature with Chelsea.
The same report states that Real Madrid are demanding a fee of £78m for the Spanish forward but Manchester United are only currently willing to pay around £60m.
The story also claims that Chelsea are willing to pay as much as £70m for Morata, although a move to Stamford Bridge for Morata is described as being “unlikely” at this stage.
The report comes after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez on Monday night confirmed that the Spanish club have not received official offers for any of their players so far this summer.
Those remarks came despite the relentless speculation surrounding the likes of Morata, James Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo in recent weeks.
Manchester United are thought to be keen to bolster their attacking options this summer as Jose Mourinho prepares for his second season in charge at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have so far only confirmed the signing of defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica this summer.
