Jose Mourinho admits that he is unsure if Samuel Eto’o will be fit to feature against Paris Saint-German on Tuesday night.

The Cameroon striker has not played for the Blues since being substituted early on during the 6-0 victory over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge last month with a hamstring strain.

The 33-year-old trained with the first-team at Chelsea’s Cobham training base on Monday morning ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg, in which the Blues are aiming to overturn a 3-1 deficit.

And when asked if Eto’o is fit to play, Mourinho replied: “Fit, fit, I don’t think he is, but to play tomorrow, maybe.”

He continued: “Eto’o didn’t play the first game and I’m not sure he will play the second game. Ramires is suspended and Nemanja Matic and Mohamed Salah cannot play in the Champions League.”

Meanwhile, midfielder Andre Schurrle confirmed that he will be available to feature against the Ligue 1 champions after being forced off during the 3-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday.

“I know the Premier League is hard and I have no problems,” said Schurrle. “My ankle is good and my foot is good.”
