Mourinho gives latest Chelsea injury update ahead of Everton clash
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho confirms that John Terry is fit to face Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday

Jose Mourinho has revealed that John Terry is fit to start on Saturday but has confirmed David Luiz won’t feature against Everton.
The 33-year-old centre-half hasn’t featured for the Blues since a 1-0 loss to Manchester City after picking up a gluteal strain strain at The Etihad.

However, Mourinho said that the former England international will be ready to face their top-four rivals at Stamford Bridge.
“John is fit and he plays. I don’t think about Galatasaray [in the Champions League next week]. So it will be the team I think is a strong team for the game,” Mourinho told his pre-match media conference.
Whilst Luiz’s injury has ruled him out of the Toffees clash, Mourinho is optimistic that the Brazil defender will be ready to face Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
“David Luiz is injured but Terry can play,” he added.
“It is something in the muscle. He is feeling it and is not ready for this game. We will try to have him ready for the next one because it is Champions League and we have two players less than in the Premier League.
“We don’t have Nemanja Matic and Mohamed Salah so we need him if possible to be ready for Galatasaray.”
