N’Golo Kante sends message to Chelsea fans: I don’t listen to this

N’Golo Kante has insisted that he has been paying no attention to the praise aimed in his direction in recent weeks following his sparkling form for Chelsea.

The French midfielder has been one of the Premier League’s standout performers this season and has earned plenty of praise for his displays for the Blues this term.

Kante opted to switch Leicester City for Chelsea last summer and has helped the Blues build a 10-point lead at the top of the Premier League table under new boss Antonio Conte.

The midfielder has been touted as a possible candidate to win the PFA player of the year award this season following his brilliant performances for the Blues.

However, Kante himself says that he is paying no attention to the praise headed his way and insists that he is only focused on helping Chelsea finish the season strongly.

Kante is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “I’m really happy with my season, I made the right choice when I came to Chelsea.

“We are in good position, we really do a good job. For my part, it is true that I hear beautiful things about me.

“It makes me happy but I try to hear without listening. The important thing is to work to finish the season well.”
