The Blues are still searching for their first Premier League victory under Frank Lampard after the English coach took over the reins from Maurizio Sarri.
Lampard’s side suffered a humiliating 4-0 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford in their opening Premier League fixture of the season.
Chelsea FC were held to a 1-1 draw with Leicester City last weekend despite Mason Mount giving the home side a seventh-minute lead.
Norwich City were 3-1 winners against Newcastle United at Carrow Road last weekend after Teemu Pukki scored a hat-trick.
Former Liverpool FC defender Lawrenson is backing Chelsea FC to ease to victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.
“I said Teemu Pukki would not hit 10 goals this season and he’s already got four!” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“I thought Norwich were poor defensively against Liverpool in their opening game of the season but if they play that kind of attacking football at home, they will win enough games to stay in the league, which will be an achievement.
“They had a good result against Newcastle last week and you can see with the way they set up that it is about winning their home games and that’s the right idea for a newly-promoted team.
“Chelsea have actually played well, despite failing to win so far this season. But they haven’t played well for long enough in games.
“When you’re in front, you have to stop the opposition from scoring and they haven’t done that. I also don’t think the team is set up right.
“If you have N’Golo Kante, you have to play him in his best position and protect the defence.
“Chelsea will dominate the ball far longer against Norwich than they have in their other games and that should be enough for them to win it.”
Chelsea FC finished in third place in the Premier League table last term to secure a spot in the Champions League under Sarri.
The Blues won the Europa League title after Chelsea FC were 4-1 winners against their bitter rivals Arsenal in Baku last term.
Chelsea FC added United States international Christian Pulisic and Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic to their squad in the summer.
The west London outfit haven’t won the Premier League title since 2017, when they lifted the trophy under Antonio Conte.
