Nottingham Forest

Karl Darlow The Forest stopper is sure to attract more Premier League interest following this display after showing great vision to pick out Andy Reid in the first-half, and having pulled off fine saves from Morrison and Turgott. 8/10

Gonzalo Jara Gave the ball away cheaply early on but regained his composure to make his presence known and managed to push forward to help his side at times. 6

Eric Lichaj Before being forced off, the American was one of Forest’s star performers after bursting down the left-flank all afternoon and letting nothing past him at the back. 8

Henri Lansbury Should have got on the scoresheet after a number of clear-cut opportunities but did well, creating a number of opportunities with his movement. 6

Jamaal Lascelles Another solid display from the centre-back who looked at ease throughout and even tested Adrian from range with a powerful strike before half-time. 7

Jack Hobbs Has again showed just how strong a partnership he has performed with Lascelles and Billy Davies will be eager to ensure his move from Hull City is made permanent. 7

Djamel Abdoun After his New Year break, the Algerian showed just what he is about with a superb penalty and several inch-perfect deliveries into the Hammers box before setting up Reid to score. 8

Guy Moussi As energetic as ever and showed his strength a number of times to keep things solid for the hosts.6

Greg Halford Did not manage to score but played a pivotal part and set-up Jamie Paterson after shrugging off the defender with ease. 7

Andy Reid It was only right that the captain finished things of after creating chances for his team-mates all game with his fine vision and passing ability. 7

Jamie Paterson (Man-of-the-match) Won the penalty in the first-half before scoring a hat-trick to round of an excellent performance and take the match ball home. 8

West Ham United

Adrian Was helpless for each of the goals in a game where his players did little to protect him. 5

Daniel Potts Tries his best but looked out of depth at times and struggled to make his presence known on a dark day for Sam Allardyce’s men. 5

Alou Diarra Did not look convincing at all whilst failing to show his experience before being replaced. 5

Callum Driver Was one of the highlights of the visitors’ display and made a great last-ditch tackle on Halford to offer some resistance and stake his claim for a regular spot in the side. 6

Matthew Jarvis As one of the Hammers most experienced players on the field he did not offer much to the team and ran out of ideas after coming up against the superb Lichaj throughout. 5

Stewart Downing Was given the captain’s armband and asked to play slightly deeper but failed to make an impact or give the attackers any service. 5

Danny Whitehead Helpless in the midfield area and only notable impact was a shot which flew off target. 5

Sebastian Lletget Booked early on in a poor performance but almost got on the scoresheet but for a brilliant Karl Darlow shot. 5

Modibo Maiga Did not show his goal-scoring prowess and wasted the Hammers best chance of the game after taking too long on the ball after being put through on goal. 4

Ravel Morrison Few neat touches from the highly-rated attacker and came close twice but found the hosts keeper in inspired form. 6

George Moncur Lack of experience showed as he gave away the penalty to start the rout but did put through Maiga who should have done better. 5
