Owen Hargreaves: Man United star is the best in the world
Owen Hargreaves believes that David De Gea is the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment

Owen Hargreaves believes that David De Gea is the best goalkeeper in the world following his sparkling form for Manchester United this season.
The Spanish shot-stopper has been earning huge amounts of praise for his performances for the Red Devils this season as he bids to help Manchester United mount a serious Premier League title challenge.
De Gea initially struggled to produce consistent performances for Manchester United following his transfer to the Old Trafford outfit from Atletico Madrid back in 2011.
However, the Spain international has since developed into one of the Premier League’s finest shot-stoppers.
Former Manchester United midfielder Hargreaves believes that De Gea is the top goalkeeper in the world on current form and says that Jose Mourinho has been getting the most out of his team in recent weeks.
Speaking to the Daily Express, Hargreaves said: “He [Mourinho] has got the best goalkeeper in the world in David De Gea.
“They make Antonio Valencia look like one of the best right-backs in the country. He’s great, getting so much out of Phil Jones.
“You look at Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Marital. So many pieces there.”
Manchester United are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon as they bid to get back to winning ways in the top flight following their goalless draw with Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.
The Red Devils are currently second in the table and two points behind Manchester City after eight games of the new season.
