Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has urged Arsenal to stick together as the race for a top-four finish heats up.
The Gunners edged to a 1-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday, with Steve Sidwell and Olivier Giroud both being sent off for poor tackles.
Arsenal are third in the table after Chelsea could only secure a point at Liverpool on Sunday, with Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-1 victory over Manchester City leaving Andre Villas-Boas’s men in fifth.
The Gunners face Manchester United at The Emirates next weekend, and Oxlade-Chamberlain is optimistic Arsene Wenger’s men can secure Champions League football for next season.
“It seems to be the Arsenal way,” Chamberlain told Sky Sports News.
“We have to turn it around, we did it last season, and need to do it again.
“We just have to take each game as it comes, work together as a team, and hopefully we will get there.”
Oxlade-Chamberlain appears set for a run in the first-team following Giroud’s red card, and the 19-year-old is relishing his chance to thrive in the starting line-up.
“Just being here, at a club like Arsenal, I am loving every minute of it,” he added.
“To be involved with England, playing a few games, that’s the motivation I need.”
“I am hungry for more.”
