Ozil, Ramsey and more: Twitter reacts as Arsenal beat Norwich

Arsenal warmed up for next weekend’s FA Cup final by beating Norwich City 2-0 in their last Premier League game of the season.

Goals from Aaron Ramsey and Carl Jenkinson handed the Gunners victory at Carrow Road and relegated City to the Championship.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal now have the chance to end the season with their first major trophy in nine seasons by beating Hull City in Saturday’s final at Wembley.

Here, we round up some of the reaction to Arsenal’s final-day win over the Canaries.

Celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) is not impressed by his side’s recent transfer dealings: “Must be about that time when Wenger/Gazidis sell another of our best players to a rival so they can win the League next year… #Sagna Before adding: “Arsenal fans deliriously chanting Wenger’s name. For coming 4th yet again. Weird. #afc”

Goal-scorer Aaron Ramsey (@aaronramsey) is the first of the Arsenal players to take to Twitter after the final whistle: “Amazing support today, pleased to finish off the league season with a win. Can’t wait for next weekend chance to finish the season on a high. Delighted for Jenko, not sure about his celebration though, had to pull him down from row z!”

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil (@MesutOzil1088) is already turning his attentions to next weekend: “Three points at the last game. Now we have to work for the FA-Cup- final. #gunners #premierleague”

And Lukas Podolski (@Podolski10) echoes his team-mate’s sentiments: “Clean sheet again! Now the focus is on the FINAL on saturday !! #afc #victory #NCFCvAFC #coyg #team… On the way back home, see you on Saturday gunners…;)”
