England will face Italy in their 2014 World Cup opener after Roy Hodgson’s men were drawn in a tough Group D on Friday.

The Three Lions, who were eliminated by the Azzurri in the Euro 2012 quarter-finals, will also take on Costa Rica and Luis Suarez’s Uruguay for a place in the last 16 of next summer’s tournament in Brazil.
