Pablo Zabaleta: Every club would like to sign Man United’s Angel di Maria
Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta backs Angel di Maria to be a "great signing" for Manchester United
Pablo Zabaleta believes “every single club in the world” would like to sign Manchester United’s club-record purchase Angel di Maria.
The 26-year-old forward signed a five-year deal with the 20-time English champions on Tuesday night after United agreed a British record £59.7m fee with los Blancos.

Di Maria was the fourth signing of Louis van Gaal’s reign after Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera, England international Luke Shaw and Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo moved to Old Trafford.
And City right-back Zabaleta, who was part of Argentina’s World Cup squad alongside Di Maria this summer, hailed the United signing as a world-class player.
“With Di Maria, United have signed one of those players that every single club in the world would like to sign,” Zabaleta told reporters. “He’s a top player.
“He has been at Real Madrid and has won a lot of trophies. He’s won the Champions League and has great experience there.
“He’s a great player, he’s fast, he’s direct, sets up goals and can score them. They are spending a lot of money but he will be a great signing for them.”
