Paul Merson claims he knows what Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is going to do
Paul Merson claims Arsene Wenger is just waiting to announce his plans to stay at Arsenal for another year

Paul Merson has claimed that Arsene Wenger is planning to stay on at Arsenal for at least another year.
The Frenchman’s future at The Emirates has been a relentless source of speculation in recent months following Arsenal’s recent slump in form.
The Gunners lost 3-1 to West Brom at The Hawthorns last time out to severely dent their hopes of finishing in the top four this season.
That result left Arsenal in sixth place in the Premier League table and facing an uphill battle in the race for Champions League qualification.
Wenger’s future continues to be a big source of debate after he entered into the final few months of his contract at The Emirates.
However, former Arsenal star Merson believes that Wenger is likely to stay at The Emirates for another year and is just waiting for the right time to announce his plans.
Speaking on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning, Merson said: “My instincts tell me that he’s going to sign and he’s waiting for a win.
“If he wasn’t signing I think he would have said he’s leaving.
“I think he’s waiting for a big win and he’ll sign another year I think. He doesn’t want to leave.”
