Former Man United star makes prediction about Paul Pogba

Wes Brown is certain that it is only a matter of time before Paul Pogba starts to justify his price-tag at Manchester United.

The French midfielder has found himself under constant scrutiny at Old Trafford following his arrival from Juventus for a world-record transfer fee last summer.

Pogba has been a regular fixture in the Manchester United first team this season but most Red Devils fans will agree that he has failed to really live up to the hype this term.

However, former Manchester United defender Brown feels that it is only a matter of time before Pogba justifies his price-tag and begins to hit top gear for the Red Devils.

Brown is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “I know a lot of people say all the other stuff is getting to him a little bit, but I don’t necessarily think it.

“I’d just be advising him to get on with his football. Everyone has their own lives out of football and that’s just the way it is.

“Obviously people are highlighting it a bit more because of who he is.

“He joined for a lot of money and we haven’t seen his best form yet, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before he starts to deliver.

“People are talking about his lifestyle off the pitch too much.

“But what counts is on the pitch and I’m sure he will produce good performances soon.”

Pogba is currently sidelined with a calf injury but will be hoping to return to action as soon as possible.

Manchester United host West Bromwich Albion in their next Premier League game at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
