David Luiz hasn’t forgotten his Brazilian friends at Cheslea despite moving to Paris Saint-Germain after remembering to wish Oscar a happy 23rd birthday.
The Brazil international completed a £50m switch to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window, ending his three-and-a-half year stay at the west London side.
Luiz and Oscar were close team-mates at Stamford Bridge as the pair won the Champions League and Europa League together in successive seasons.
And the PSG centre-half took to his Instagram page to pay tribute to the Chelsea midfielder, who is yet to score in the Premier League this term.
“Congratulations my brother @oscar_emboaba ( Osquinhaaa )! Good to see you grow with each passing year both as a player and as a person! Grateful to God for having you as a friend! God bless you brother!” Luiz said.
Earlier on Tuesday, Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard wished his team-mate a happy birthday as the Blues gear up for their clash against Swansea City on Saturday.
“Happy birthday my man @oscar_emboaba” Hazard said.
Brazil captain Thiago Silva joined his PSG team-mate Luiz in paying tribute to Oscar, too.
