QPR manager Harry Redknapp: We need ’11 Jamie Mackies’
QPR manager Harry Redknapp believes the Hoops need "11 Jamie Mackies" if they are going to avoid relegation from the top flight

Harry Redknapp believes Queens Park Rangers need “11 Jamie Mackies” if the Hoops are going to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.
The 27-year-old has scored twice in his last three Premier League games after Mark Hughes’ replacement opted to give the Scotland international a run of games in the first-team.
Mackie started just three games under Hughes this season, with QPR currently winless in 15 attempts and rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.
Redknapp has been impressed by Mackie’s work-rate since taking charge at Loftus Road, urging the rest of the Hoops squad to match the striker’s tireless attitude.
“I thought [Mackie] worked hard,” said Redknapp. “He gives you effort. He runs around. He works hard. He gives you honesty.
“If you had 11 Jamie Mackies you wouldn’t be in this trouble, would you?
“I know just how difficult it is. We must not stand here and kid ourselves. If we pull this one off, my God, it will be a miracle but I believe in miracles so I’ve got to keep trying.”
