QPR transfers: Toulouse’s Etienne Capoue ready for England challenge
QPR transfers: Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue says he is ready for a new challenge abroad amid interest from the Hoops

Etienne Capoue says he is ready to embark on a new challenge abroad, with Everton and Queens Park Rangers reportedly monitoring the Toulouse star.
The 24-year-old has been ever-present in Alain Casanova’s starting line-up and the midfielder’s impressive form over the past two seasons culminated in his first France cap in August 2012.
On Monday, QPR manager Harry Redknapp revealed that he made an unsuccessful attempt to bring Capoue to Loftus Road in the January transfer window.
But the Hoops boss may succeed with a summer bid if he keeps the west London side in the Premier League after Capoue expressed an interest in moving to England.
“At the end of the season, I will sit with my club and we will decide,” Capoue said.
“I am 24 years old now and if there is an interesting opportunity abroad, I want to take that challenge.
“I think I am ready to handle it, I am the right age but ultimately Toulouse will have a big say.
“The interest from English teams is there, so let’s wait and see at the end of the season.”
