QPR can beat anybody at Loftus Road, Hughes warns Tottenham
Mark Hughes believes Queens Park Rangers' recent home form has proven his side can beat anyone at Loftus Road

Mark Hughes has warned Tottenham that his Queens Park Rangers side are capable of beating any Premier League opposition at Loftus Road ahead of Spurs’ visit on Saturday.
QPR are currently on a three-game winning streak at home after dramatic victories over Arsenal and Liverpool, followed by a resounding 3-0 win against Swansea City nine days ago.
“Our home form has been excellent,” said Hughes. “We have to replicate that.
“If we match the levels that we’ve hit at home then coupled with the ability we have and the support of the home crowd we can give anybody a game.
“That confidence leading into a game of significance, as the Tottenham game is, is really important for the team.
“So we’re looking forward to it. It’s important at this stage of the season that you don’t have any apprehension about what’s ahead.
“You go into the game with confidence and that’s certainly how we feel with the shape that we’re in. We’re very much of the mind we can go up against Spurs at home and give it a really good go.”
Hughes’ side, currently in 17th place and two points clear of the relegation zone, face an out-of-form Spurs side but have only beaten the White Hart Lane outfit once in their last four attempts.
The 48-year-old has singled out Gareth Bale as Tottenham’s biggest threat on Saturday – but Hughes is confident his side can get a positive result from a must-win game if they can restrict the Wales winger.
“He’s an outstanding talent,” added Hughes.
“He’s a fantastic player and very difficult to contain if he’s in a run of form that everything is flowing for him.
“What we have to do is stop the supply to him and not give him the opportunity to show the talents that he has, and his technical ability.
“So we’ll have to work hard to restrict his opportunities because when he does get a chance, invariably he creates chances or takes them himself.”
