Rafael Benítez: I made the right decision joining Chelsea
Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benítez says he made the "right decision" taking charge of the Blues despite a mixed reign

Rafael Benítez believes he made the “right decision” becoming Chelsea’s interim manager despite the hostility from Blues supporters.
The 52-year-old will hope to mastermind his side’s passage to the FA Cup final when Chelsea take on Manchester City on Sunday afternoon after replacing Roberto Di Matteo in November.
The Blues also have a Europa League semi-final against Basel to look forward to in April, as well as staying in the hunt for a top-four finish in the Premier League.
Despite his success, Benítez is still a controversial figure in the eyes of Chelsea fans, but the Spaniard admitted he will be sad to leave the Blues when his reign comes to an end in the summer.
“I was pretty sure it was the right decision. We had to come and show our level and be professionals,” he told the Daily Mail.
“Always when you start something and you can see things are improving and going well, when you can see players getting better… when you have to go it is not easy [to leave].
“Always you will miss something if you have to go, because you are trying to improve players who are people. You talk with them and work with them every day. You will miss them.”
